MLB 2027 Tickets: Your Guide to the Baseball 2027 Season

MLB 2027 tickets: what the baseball 2027 season looks like

The 2027 campaign is built on the familiar 162-game schedule for each of the 30 clubs, which adds up to 2,430 games in total. The league has confirmed that all 30 teams open on the same day, Thursday, March 25, 2027, and that the regular season finishes on Sunday, September 26, 2027. First pitch times have not been published yet, so any page that claims to know them is guessing.

If you are planning around MLB 2027 tickets, the useful way to think about the year is in four blocks: Spring Training in February and March, the long regular season from late March to late September, the All-Star break in July, and the postseason in the fall. Our MLB 2027 season page explains the format in detail, and the schedule page lets you filter every game by team, month or league.

The defending champions going into the 2027 cycle are the Los Angeles Dodgers, who beat Toronto four games to three in the 2025 World Series for their second title in a row. The 2026 postseason is still being played as we write, so the next champion is not decided yet.

MLB 2027 tickets month by month: the calendar

The official calendar is unusually easy to size up because the monthly totals are known. March carries only 91 games, because the regular season does not start until the 25th. April has 392, May 421, June 397, July 376, August 406 and September 347. That is a lot of baseball, and the distribution tells you something practical: May and August are the densest months, while July is lighter because of the All-Star break.

• March: 91 games, starting with Opening Day on March 25.
• April: 392 games, including the usual ceremonial days.
• May and June: 421 and 397 games, with the Las Vegas games for the Athletics at the end of May.
• July: 376 games and the All-Star Game on July 13.
• August and September: 406 and 347 games, then the regular season ends on September 26.

For baseball 2027 trip planning, those numbers matter less than the specific series you want, so use the filters on our schedule page rather than scrolling a monthly list.

The 30 clubs behind MLB 2027 tickets

Baseball is split into the American League and the National League, each with an East, Central and West division of five teams. Every club has its own page here with its home park, its division and the ticket alert for its home games. The full list sits on the MLB teams 2027 page.

A few teams deserve a note for 2027. The Athletics continue to play at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, with a permanent Las Vegas ballpark aimed at 2028. The Rays remain at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg; a new stadium in Tampa is targeted for around 2029, not 2027. The Dodgers play at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium, the Astros at Daikin Park and the White Sox at Rate Field, all names that have changed in recent years.

If you want a quick feel for how different the parks are, start with a classic such as the Chicago Cubs, a marquee destination such as the New York Yankees or a ballpark with a strong reputation like the Pittsburgh Pirates.

MLB 2027 tickets for the big events: All-Star, Spring Training and special games

All-Star Game 2027 tickets

The 97th All-Star Game is set for Tuesday, July 13, 2027, at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The Home Run Derby date has not been announced. The 2026 edition was held on July 14, 2026, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and the host for 2028 has not been named. See the All-Star page for the details as they arrive.

Spring Training 2027 tickets

Exhibition games run from February 19 to March 23, 2027, split between the Cactus League in Arizona and the Grapefruit League in Florida, with 15 teams in each. Pitchers and catchers report dates have not been announced yet. Our Spring Training page covers the two leagues.

Special games to pair with MLB 2027 tickets

Three one-off events stand out: six Athletics games at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin from May 31 to June 5 (against the Padres, then the Reds), the MLB at Field of Dreams game on August 12 in Dyersville, Iowa (Red Sox at Royals), and the MLB Little League Classic on August 19 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (Cubs at Blue Jays). Jackie Robinson Day, Lou Gehrig Day and Roberto Clemente Day each come with 15 games.

Baseball 2027 postseason tickets: what is known and what is not

The 2027 postseason dates have not been announced officially. A start in late September and a World Series in late October would match recent years, but treat that as a pattern, not a promise. For reference, the 2026 Wild Card round began on September 29 and the 2026 World Series starts on October 23.

The format is 12 teams: three division winners and three wild cards from each league. The postseason page walks through the bracket and explains why the alert is the best way to catch playoff tickets, which are usually released late and sell quickly. Playoff games are normally ticketed only after the matchups are known, so no honest page can list them in advance.

Beyond MLB 2027 tickets: Japan, Korea, Mexico and the World Baseball Classic

Plenty of fans combine MLB with a trip to another baseball culture. We cover the leagues that draw international visitors: Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan, the KBO League in South Korea, the Mexican League and the Caribbean Series. Each has its own rhythm, its own cheering style and its own way of selling seats, which is the point of going.

On the national-team side, Venezuela won the 2026 World Baseball Classic, beating the United States 3-2 in the final on March 17, 2026, at loanDepot park in Miami. The next edition is announced for 2030, with hosts and dates still to be named, so there is no WBC in 2027. You can follow it on the WBC page.

One more thing to know: MLB has no international series scheduled for 2027. The 2026 Mexico City Series was played in late April 2026 and the London Series planned for 2026 was cancelled. Our World Tour page keeps track of any future announcement.

How the MLB 2027 tickets alert works, and the lockout question

Single-game tickets generally go on sale in winter or early spring, but the timing varies by club, and prices are dynamic, so we do not quote figures. Resale also exists alongside the clubs' own sales. What we can do is watch for you: leave your email on this page and you receive a message when your team, event or league has news. There is no cost and one click removes you.

The big unknown is labor. The collective bargaining agreement between MLB and the players' union expires on December 1, 2026. The owners have proposed a salary cap; there is no deal and no lockout as of October 11, 2026, and nothing is decided. A work stoppage could push back Spring Training or Opening Day. The last one ran from December 2021 to March 2022 and moved the 2022 opener to April 7 while keeping 162 games. Read the lockout page before you buy anything non-refundable, and check the FAQ for common questions.
